Activities

Track open 0900-1700 with 1 hour lunch break

Advice & guidance from ARDS Instructors and experienced competitors.

Segregated track sessions based on your level of experience

Technical guidance & advice.

Update on JEC Racing & Competition activities in 2009

Optional ARDS Course for those intending to race (see below)

Strict track etiquette to be enforced

Noise restriction - 105dB static at ž rpm

JEC Racing Committee technical advisors available

Opportunity for passenger rides

Scrutineering advisory service

Weighbridge available to check race car eligibility for JEC Racing

Mentoring service for new race competitors.

Catering facilities available

If you don't have one then helmets may be hired on the day.

Valid UK Driving Licence will need to be produced (no photocopies)

Front/Rear glass lights to be taped.

Cost

Ł150 Members, (Ł90 half-day)
Ł170 Non-Members.
Ł30 extra for each driver sharing a car
Ł10 per passenger

If any JEC-Registered race drivers wish to bring along their current/potential sponsors then a special offer can be discussed.

The format of the day is as follows;

Signing on & indemnity completion from 0730

Noise testing (all cars) from 0800

Briefings from at 0830 & every 30 minutes until 1000 (late arrivals - individual briefings).

Briefing to include Health & Safety instruction.

ALL drivers must attend briefing & complete indemnity.

ALL drivers new to Brands Hatch to be tutored on the track

Sessions will be based on drivers' experience level

Sessions of around 15 minutes.

Drivers to queue in pitlane area under instruction from pitlane Marshal

ANY on-track or paddock incident to be reported to Race Control
